James Gurney has a fascinating article about choosing a color schemes on his blog. He uses a color wheel and a mask to select limited color palettes. He then goes on to try out various mask shapes to get different moods. This is a great idea! I don't know if he invented this but I've never come across it before and I can't wait to try this out on my latest batch of work.
